Both teams placed 2nd out of 5 teams competing.

The Deep Run Boys and Girls Cross Country teams showed solid improvement under the lights at the Brentsville Relays on September 16.

The Wildcat girls placed 2nd in the 4x100 M relay with a new Deep Run school record 49.03 result.

Ashley Orr finished 6th in the triple jump at the Nike Outdoor Nationals. Brianna Hudson and the girls 4x100M relay and girls 4x200M relay also competed in the meet at NC A&T in Greensboro, NC.

Friday-Saturday, June 2-3, 2006 - Todd Stadium, Newport News, VA

The record and near-record setting performances that brought victory to Deep Run in the Colonial District were only memories as the Wildcat track team garnered only a single point in the AAA championship meet.

Wednesday and Thursday, May 24-26, 2006 - Sports Backers Stadium, Richmond, VA

Brianna Hudson, Ashley Orr, Courtlin LaReau, Erin Bragg, Joanna Hassell, Kirk Fischer, Matthew Armentrout, and David Lynch qualified for the Virginia AAA State Championship. Girls 4x100M relay claims 1st in region. Girls 4x800M relay advances to state meet with 3rd place finish.

Wednesday-Thursday, May 17-18, 2006 - Douglas Freeman High School, Henrico County, VA

The DRHS girls outdoor track and field team picked up where the indoor team left off as they captured the Colonial District championship trophy.

Friday, May 12, 2006 - Sportsbackers Stadium, Richmond, VA

Ashley Orr nearly surpassed the 40' mark in setting a new DRHS triple jump record at Friday night's Southern Track Classic. The girls 4x100 M relay took 3rd overall in a very fast field, while the 4x400 M relay sliced 8 seconds off the school record.
