Coach Strockdreher happy with Varina meet

Despite some confusion about the course layout at Varina HS, Coach Stockdreher was very satisfied with Deep Run's performance on Wednesday evening. "We were only racing about 80% because we worked out on Tuesday" said Coach Stockdreher. Even with the slower than normal finish times, Deep Run's first six girls finished ahead of all J. R. Tucker girls to win the only scored competition. Deep Run boys also finished well, with Drew Spicer again leading the way. Deep Run boys defeated Varina and Highland Springs, but lost to J.R. Tucker.
