Pocahontas State Park
Bus will Depart Deep Run HS at 8:00 AM. We will return to Deep Run around 2:30.
Race Schedule
Boys Varsity A: 10:30 Warmups start at 9:20
Reid, Weaver, Sheppard, Novak, Hornsby, Brennan, Robinson
Girls Varsity B: 11:00 Warmups start at 10:10
Dobbs, Koo, Good, O’Connor, Corbitt, Vales, Nolan
Girls JV 12:00 Warmups start at 11:10
Boys JV (1 or 2): 12:30 or 1:00 Warmups start at 11:40 or 12:10
Awards 1:15
Remember your: Uniform, Clothes to Warmup in, Spikes, Water/Snacks

This is the last major invitational of the regular season. There is much at stake. Both teams have had rotations in the top 7. This is an opportunity to race at a higher level and guarantee your spot for the District meet. You have to make some changes in your intensity. You have to want it like nothing else. Only then can you race with passion and desire and break out of the mold. The first part of this race should be run smart. The middle of the race should be driven by your toughness and our ability to race together. The closing part of the race should be run with your heart and guts. It will not be easy, but it will be worth it.

The State Park is on your Right
Parking
There will be a $5 parking fee for all spectators, parents, and student drivers. No fee for buses. This is collected by the park management and not meet management for all park visitors on the day regardless if they are there for the meet or not. Parents will be required to park in the CCV field parking area, which is a quarter mile into the main entrance of the park on the right hand side. Please follow instructions/directions from volunteer parking attendants. In order to prevent traffic backup, buses will not be allowed to stop and drop off teams at the upper field immediately as they come into the park. They must drive into the park and drop off teams just beyond the park gate entrance and then will be directed to park at the bottom of the park at the end of the main park road in the parking lot adjacent to the swimming pool.
