Deep Run Lee Davis Track and Field Invitational Information
DEEP RUN – LEE DAVIS TRACK & FIELD INVITATIONAL
SATURDAY, APRIL 21, 2007
FACILITY: An 8 lane all-weather track. Spikes of ¼” (no longer) are recommended. Throwing surfaces are concrete. All Jumping surfaces are all-weather rubber.
DEADLINES: The entries must be in my hand no later than Tuesday, April 10th , 2007. Please mail them to my home address: 6401 Sledds Lake Road.; Mechanicsville, VA 23111 or e-mail your entries to smathews@hanover.k12.va.us or stuamathe@aol.com by the same date. Scratches and changes can be made by e-mail and I will verify that I have received them. NO RACE DAY SUBSTITUTIONS OR ADDITIONS. I will take changes through April 17th . They must be sent by email!!
ENTRY FEE: $90.00 for one team and $170.00 for both teams. There will be a $5.00 entry fee for each JV relay team entered.

AWARDS: The top three individuals and the top relay team will receive awards. There will also be medals in the JV relays. The top two teams will also receive an award.
CONCESSIONS: There will be a concession stand with a grill open during the meet. T-Shirts and Long Sleeve Shirts will be available.
SCRATCHES: Please e-mail any scratches as soon as possible. You may scratch the day of the meet, but no addition or substitutions will be accepted on the day of the meet. Deadline for changes is April 12, 2006. Home e-mail: stuamathe@aol.com School e-mail: smathews@hanover.k12.va.us.
ENTRY PROCEDURE: Please fill out the accompanying forms. You can get a digital form to type into by selecting one from the list that appears on the accompanying form. Please make sure that the boys entries are entered on the boys form and the girls entries are entered on the girls form. You are allowed 3 entries per event. (Also, do not forget to add the entry fee for your JV relay teams to your totals. This has been an oversight by some in the past.)

OTHER INFORMATION: There will be FAT timing for all races. All races are finals. There will not be any prelims. The last heat will be the fastest. You may enter three athletes in each event. Performances will be posted.
WARM UP AREA: Please instruct your athletes to warm up outside the stadium. The track is for races only.
INFIELD: No athletes will be allowed on the infield unless their event is being run. The area of the finish line is off limits. Times and results will be posted. Coaches are asked to stay away from the timing booth. Direct any disputes to Coach Mathews.
